What kind of law do you practice?
We practice in all areas of intellectual property law – patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. In the past, we have handled matters involving prosecution (i.e., the process of obtaining a patent or trademark), litigation, licensing and client counseling. Our website includes other pages that describe intellectual property law and the types of matters that we can handle in more detail.
Where do you practice law?
We are licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). We maintain an office in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The physical address is 9800A McKnight Road, Suite 307
Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
We are located in a state other than Pennsylvania. Can you represent me before the USPTO?
Yes. As a registered patent attorney, we can represent individuals, companies and other entities in patent matters before the USPTO from all over the world. We can also represent individuals, companies and other entities in trademark matters before the USPTO because such matters are governed by federal law.
Do you offer a free consultation?
In most cases, we will meet with potential clients for a free consultation either in person or over the phone. Usually, We will speak to a client, briefly, in advance of the consultation in order to get some basic information about the matter and schedule an appointment for the consultation for the following week.
